Year 6 Poetry Fest

In English, Year 6 have been studying the work of Karl Nova, who is one of the UK’s leading poets and hip hop artists delivering his work in his own unique, witty and energetic style. To help immerse ourselves in his poems, we created our own ‘poetry gallery’ in the hall. The children read through each of the poems discussing the imagery and poetic devices, before deciding on and sharing their favourite poem.
