Celebrating International Links

For a while now, we have been linked to a school in Zambia called Kakaindu School. We have been sharing information about our schools, cultures and local environment. As well as incorporating more international work within our curriculum, we also held a Zambia Day in the summer of 2023 where the whole school became immersed in African art work, African facts and activities and we even had a taste of a Zambian national dish. We also had a school assembly which was delivered by 'Teddy' a local pastor who was born in Zambia. It was a very memorable day. It was an honour to receive an award on behalf of the school this week, in recognition of everybody's hard work.
