Home Learning

Home learning, previously referred to as remote learning, has emerged as a critical strategy in ensuring educational continuity amid unplanned school closures and student absences. By leveraging digital platforms (e.g. Office 365 and Mathletics) and resources, educators provide uninterrupted access to curriculum and support, allowing for a flexible and responsive learning environment.

This approach not only maintains academic progress but also addresses the socio-emotional needs of students during disruptive periods, as highlighted by the Chartered College of Teaching. Furthermore, evidence suggests that with proper planning and implementation, home learning can effectively minimize the educational impact of such interruptions.
